In my experience, the key to understanding Master Teachers resides in my desire to be authentic. Through my efforts to develop and express my true self, I realized the way I handle daily interactions with family, friends and business associates is the truest statement of my character.
The evidence of my personal development is not only in the words I choose and the actions I take, but also in understanding that the people in my life mirror my own truth. The lessons I need to develop my highest potential are hidden in my interactions with the people in my life. If I am inspired or annoyed, my perception of those in my circle is rooted in my own need to grow and live authentically. While it is a difficult concept to grasp at times, allowing others to be who they are gives me the opportunity to see myself in their light and make the necessary changes for my own growth.
A Swan Life {Master Teachers} is a collection of interviews and experiences that honor the people, places, and experiences that inspire me to be a Master Student and Teacher. I hope they inspire you are well.
A special thanks to my Spelman Sister, Suzanne Daniels, for the use of her image. To see more of Suzanne's makeup artistry connect with Beauty Designs Makeup Artistry on Facebook and Twitter.
